How do you get and renew a medication report in Turkey?
Find out which doctor writes the report for your long-term medication, book the visit, and confirm the record on e-Nabız.

Short answer
A medication report (ilaç raporu) is the record a doctor enters into the Medula system so your ongoing medication stays covered. Check your current report under "Raporlarım" on e-Nabız, then book an appointment through MHRS with your family physician or the specialty the drug requires. Once the doctor enters it, the pharmacy sees it on screen. No paper copy needed.
What you need
Step by step
Find out who writes the report
Some medications can be reported by a family physician, while others require a specialist in internal medicine, neurology, or cardiology, or even a full medical board. Ask a pharmacist while showing the box, or check with your Family Health Centre (ASM). Going to the wrong specialty wastes the whole visit.
Check your current report on e-Nabız
Log in at enabiz.gov.tr or in the e-Nabız app with your e-Devlet password. Open "Raporlarım" from the menu, then the tab that lists medication reports. You will see validity status, diagnosis, and the issuing doctor; saving a screenshot makes the appointment go faster.
Book an appointment on MHRS
Sign in at mhrs.gov.tr or in the MHRS Mobil app and choose "Randevu Al". Pick "Aile Hekimi Randevusu" for a family physician or "Hastane Randevusu" for a specialist, then select province, district, institution, and clinic before confirming a slot. If nothing is open, you can call the MHRS hotline.
Bring your documents to the visit
Take the old report, the medication boxes, and any test results with you. The doctor creates the report by entering the diagnosis, active ingredient, dose, and treatment duration into Medula. If extra labs or imaging are requested, complete them and return to the same doctor.
Confirm the report reached the system
After the visit, refresh "Raporlarım" on e-Nabız and check that the new record appears. If the diagnosis or drug details are missing or wrong, only the doctor can fix them; the pharmacy cannot edit those fields. For a medical board report, ask the hospital's report office about approval status.
Collect the medication with an e-prescription
The report alone is not enough to receive the drug; an e-prescription must also be written. Hand your ID to the pharmacist, who sees both the report and the prescription in the system and dispenses the medication. Co-payment rules can differ for reported drugs, so ask the pharmacist about the amount.
Start the renewal before it expires
Do not wait for the validity period to run out. Check the end date on e-Nabız and book a new MHRS appointment in advance. Renewals usually require the same specialty and up-to-date test results, and once the report lapses the pharmacy cannot dispense the drug under coverage.
Tips
Watch out
The most common mistake is acting only after the report has expired. Once it lapses, the medication falls outside report coverage, the amount you pay changes, and you risk a break in treatment. Also, if the diagnosis or active ingredient was entered incompletely, the pharmacy cannot dispense the drug, and only the issuing doctor can correct the record.
Frequently asked questions
+Can a family physician write a medication report?
For some medications yes, and a family physician can also renew a report based on an existing specialist report. Ask your Family Health Centre or pharmacist which drugs require a specialist or a medical board.
+Do I need a printed copy of the report?
No. The report is recorded in Medula, so the pharmacy sees it on screen. Still, printing or saving the copy from "Raporlarım" on e-Nabız is handy when system access is unavailable.
+What should I do if my report has expired?
Book a new MHRS appointment with the relevant specialty and renew it. Medication obtained with an expired report is treated as outside coverage, so do not delay the appointment.
+There is an error in my report. Can the pharmacy fix it?
No, the pharmacy cannot change report content. If the diagnosis, dose, or active ingredient is wrong, go back to the issuing doctor and ask for the record to be updated in Medula.
+If I have a report, do I still need a prescription?
Yes. The report documents long-term use of the medication, but an e-prescription must also be written before the pharmacy can dispense it.
