How do you cancel an MHRS appointment in Turkey?
Cancel a Turkish state hospital appointment through the MHRS app, website or the ALO 182 hotline and avoid booking restrictions.

Short answer
Sign in to the MHRS app or mhrs.gov.tr with your e-Devlet password, open "Randevularım" (My Appointments), find the booking you no longer need, tap "İptal Et" (Cancel) and confirm. Without internet access, call the ALO 182 central physician appointment line and request the cancellation using your Turkish ID number.
What you need
Step by step
Sign in to the system
Open the MHRS mobile app or go to mhrs.gov.tr in a browser. On the "Giriş Yap" (Log In) screen choose the e-Devlet login option, or enter your MHRS username and password. If you have forgotten your e-Devlet password, you can get a new one at any PTT branch.
Open My Appointments
Once you are signed in, go to "Randevularım" (My Appointments) from the main menu. In the app this sits in the bottom navigation bar; on the website it is in the top menu. The screen lists all of your active upcoming appointments.
Pick the appointment to cancel
Check the hospital, clinic and doctor name on each card so you cancel the right one. If you hold several active appointments, pay close attention to the facility name, because cancelling the wrong record means you have to book it again from scratch.
Tap Cancel
Press the "İptal Et" (Cancel) button on the appointment card. The system opens a confirmation dialog asking whether you are sure you want to cancel; choose "Evet" (Yes) or "Onayla" (Confirm). Nothing is cancelled until you approve that dialog.
Verify the cancellation went through
After confirming, refresh the "Randevularım" list and check that the booking has dropped out of your active records. Under the past appointments tab its status should read "İptal Edildi" (Cancelled). Taking a screenshot makes life easier if the cancellation is ever disputed.
Call ALO 182 if you have no internet
If you cannot reach the app or website, call the ALO 182 central physician appointment centre. Follow the voice menu to the cancellation option, enter your Turkish ID number, then tell the operator which appointment you want cancelled.
Report a reason if the slot has already passed
If you missed the appointment and the cancellation window has closed, explain the situation in writing to the hospital's patient rights unit or through the "Bize Ulaşın" (Contact Us) section of MHRS. Attach any supporting documents such as a medical report; the institution decides whether to accept your reason.
Tips
Watch out
Skipping an appointment without cancelling it can leave you unable to book new MHRS appointments for a period of time. How many no-shows trigger which restriction, and the latest point at which you can still cancel, can change with Health Ministry rules, so check the warning shown in the MHRS app or call ALO 182 about your own case.
Frequently asked questions
+Can I cancel right before the appointment time?
The system can close the cancellation option once the appointment is close. If no "İptal Et" button appears, the window has passed and you need to call ALO 182 to explain your situation.
+Will I be fined if I do not show up?
There is no monetary fine, but MHRS may block you from booking new appointments for a period. Check the conditions with ALO 182 or in the warning message shown in the app.
+If I am restricted, can I still go to a hospital?
Yes. Emergency departments and family medicine services that do not need a booking stay open to you. The restriction only stops you from making new appointments through MHRS.
+Can I cancel someone else's appointment?
If they are registered as a relative on your MHRS account, you can see and cancel their appointment from your own login. Otherwise the appointment holder has to act through their own account or via ALO 182.
+I cancelled but the appointment is still listed. What now?
Log out, sign back in and refresh the My Appointments list. If the record still looks active, call ALO 182 and have them confirm whether the cancellation was recorded in the system.
